Silent Steps is a modern paranoid romance between a lonely taxidermist and a mysterious female spy as they struggle to develop their relationship in a Hitchcockian world populated by MacGuffins keen on thwarting any upstart romance. It is a story of menace, mystery and forboding events.
B.Walker Sampson's plays include Puppet Kafka for Drama of Works; Absence of a House which ran in May 2004 at New York's American Theatre of Actors; Roosevelt Island, produced in HERE's 2003 American Living Room Festival in Association with Lincoln Center Theater; Full View, part of the "Aftershocks" evening at Jean Cocteau Rep, December 2001, and Clear Across which was part of the 1999 Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival. Ben's plays have also been read at the Playwrights' Center in Minneapolis, in New York at Soho Rep, Manhattan Theatre Source, and The Flea Theater. He received his MFA in playwriting from Brooklyn College, where he studied with Mac Wellman.
